"A sister is not a friend. Who can explain the urge to take a relationship as primal and complex as a sibling and reduce it to something as replaceable, as banal as a friend?"
A beautiful portrayal of sisterhood and what it means to have siblings. There is no way to understand what a beautifully complicated relationship it is to have siblings unless you’ve experienced it. The bond you have, the way no one else understands what it’s like to have your parents as parents.
Also as the older sibling i could identify with Avery’s older sister struggles so deeply.
Overall a really beautifully written book, highly recommend

Overall this was a very cutesy, summery and fun read - great vibes all around. However, you cannot look at the plotlines from a realistic pov because everything will crumble to pieces lmao
Imo Rafael went through a complete 180-character change within the first third of the book, he went from being so insanely "grumpy" and completely unlikeable to this super sweet and caring guy
The banter (as soon as they went on vacation) was very cute & fun and the tension was an absolute 10/10
No third act breakup so that's a plus and the ending was cute but honestly not too exciting.
Recommended for a quick and cute read when you can ignore the lack of realisticness lol

Okay I’m shocked to say this but I really didn’t expect to like Isaiah as much as I did. He is such a funny, cute and likeable character how could you not love him.
I am a sucker for fake marriage/ marriage of convenience and this was the perfect execution. I have to say I loved every second of this book and of Isaiah and Kennedy’s story - so so good!!!

I wanted to like this book as much as the others but I kind of never really warmed up to Iris and Stevie. Also it felt like it took forever for them to get together only to then break up again right after…
Still entertaining but not nearly as good as the first two in the series

I am pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this book and especially how much I liked Astrid.
After her introduction in the first book I thought it would be quite hard to start liking her as the FMC but I started warming up to her quite quickly.
I ended up liking this book actually even a little more than the first one but this may mainly be due to the way I could relate to the story lol
All in all a very cute and fun experience - highly recommend

Another one that was just fine
Nothing too exciting about the plot but it wasn’t absolutely horrible lol

Liked it significantly better than the majority of the Twisted Series
Quick and easy read where I didn’t absolutely hate or love the characters - in short I’ve read worse lol

Finally caved and read this book
It felt insanely long which wasn’t very necessary since there was a lot of filler plot
Didn’t like the FMC for the first 80% and then she kinda grew on me
It was fine I just don’t get the insane TikTok hype
Probably won’t read it again…

Literally THEEEE perfect book: immaculate summer vibes, great chemistry between the two characters from the beginning on , interesting plot…. until the end. The third act breakup was kind of strange and pointless because… they just got back together…
Nonetheless still a great book

Unfortunately my expectations were a little too high but it was still an entertaining read (can’t believe I’m saying this but too much smut) probably won’t gravitate towards it again
