This book might make small local adventures accessible if you're an able-bodied adult man. But given the introduction's claim that the book is about making adventures accessible to people of all ages and abilities, everything that followed fell woefully short. If you're a woman, disabled, or adventuring with kids, nearly all of the suggested outings would prove unsafe or impossible. You'd be much better served by picking up a copy of Adventuring Together by Greta Eskridge or There's No Such Thing As Bad Weather by Linda McGurk.
