Just didn’t hold my attention. Maybe if I read it all in one sitting but after going to bed I couldn’t bring myself to pick it up again

While this book was fun to read and the characters had there moments the whole book felt very inconsistent.

I found this book like I do most on a TikTok video and it had my heart in my throat immediately. I needed to read it. 

I ended up reading this book from midnight until 6am. All in one sitting it’s that addictive. I can’t wait for the next in the series. 

My only issues are very personal ones. I wish we had more of a finishing showdown with Amber. She could go with going down a peg or two. 
Also the ending feels almost rushed and out of no where. I’m sure I probably missed the clues as it was the early morning but I wish there was more to explore. 

Either way I loved the book and can’t wait for more.

I really love Kylie Scott and her books this is pretty much the third one in a row I’ve read and I’m obsessed. 


I really love Adele she felt so real and full of life. I loved seeing her in the past and seeing how that shaped her to be who she is now. 

And Pete stupid, handsome builder Pete. I loved that man he might be my favourite of all the male love interests of Kylie’s so far. 
In saying that Pete was a little hard to read knowing a Pete who’s a builder who lives in the Sunshine Coast area. But still love that for him lol 

Also reading a book based in a setting where I live is so fun. You don’t see it a lot while living in Queensland but it’s always so fun. 

Can’t wait to see what Kylie brings me next lol.

I am obsessed with this book. 

The characters. 

The romance. 

The drama. 

I’ve not read a lot of trans books but this one was absolutely perfect and I’m glad it was my introduction to them. 
I feel so much sadness for George and the way they have to hide away and was so happy when him and Ellie finally got together because they both deserve to be happy.

Seriously I don’t even know what to say besides that. This book was chefs kiss perfect. 

Kylie and Connor are amazing. I fucking love them so much. Connor and his broken soul slowly finding reasons to smile and laugh again. 

Kylie realising that she is enough. That she can find love as well. 

The town for seeing that Connor was hurting and is finally finding himself again. 

I wish there was more in the epilogue I wish we could see them married and with kids because I need more of them.

. I loved this book. 
It was perfectly dramatic and exciting to read. I loved Betty and Thom. I want all of the Zoos participants to fall in love. 

This book was on track to be a 5 star read UNTIL after the climax. If the story had just ended at the wedding I would have been happy. 
Instead the ending made me angry and feel like all of the character growth of Thom was for nothing. He didn’t learn anything and still treats her like shit but now in the name of his love for her. 
It really pissed me off. 

All I wanted was wedding and the end.

This series was the perfect bite sized vampire and shifter romance that I needed. 

I do however at the end of it all wished it was bigger. With more moments to see and fall in love with the characters. 
To see the thought processes of Halie. 

Also every problem they had in one chapter seemed to be fixed by the next chapter with no real consequences. 

I don’t know I just wanted more than I was given.

I am heartbroken. 

Completely heartbroken. 

I think this series is going to leave me very empty inside. Still i can’t stop myself from reading that last book. 
I need more. I need answers. 

I need Neil to get his goddamn head out of his arse. I swear to god I’m annoyed I cried so much for him and he’s about to lose my love he doesn’t get his act together.
