This book describes itself as 'girl Lord of the Flies' but I feel like 'YA Annihilation' fits it better. The story is pretty gruesome and the world unexplainable.

Really enjoyed the squid facts, the book feels very comprehensive but I wish it was structured a little differently. Maybe I read it over too many months but I can barely remember the core parts of it.
