”What I am, however, is someone who'll slaughter your demons one by one until you're finally free of them. I'll touch your scars until you normalize them and can live with them, because they're what makes you who you are.”

i enjoyed this a whole lot more compared to god of malice. ive seen people everywhere saying jeremy and cecily are the superior couple and im gonna have to agree. wont lie i was falling for jeremy too

i loved that cec has so many layers to what makes her her, and how jeremy was able to help her with her struggles. IT REALLY HIT ME HARD NGL!!!

"I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun.”

my first classic! it was a lil hard to read so i listened to an audiobook. i understand why it is such a timeless read! time to go watch some of the movies to see it visually play out!

“Finding the right person at the right time is a crock of shit. I want to be your person all the time, and you, mine.”

Thanks to Ally Williams, I was able to receive an ARC for Namaste and Code All Day!

omg!! i don’t even know where to start. I LOVEDDD this book. i could not put it down and it really surpassed the first book in the series! i haven’t read a book in a while where it’s just so sweet and cozy, not too much drama, where i was able to just experience the two MCs falling in love. 🥹

i haven’t fallen this hard for a MMC in a minute. zeke morgan was so sweet and heartfelt in everything he did. I WANT MY OWN ZEKE!!! i cannot tell you the amount of times i was giggling and kicking my feet over this man! i was practically squeaking into my pillow.

and gabi! i loved her appearances in the first book but it was so refreshing seeing her character build in this one. i love her 🥺

friends to lovers is MY NUMBER ONE TROPE EVER and that made me love this book even more. it didn’t feel rushed in this one and i think it was really executed perfectly.

thank you for the arc! i’ve been reading some heavy, sad stuff recently so this was perfect to read for my sensitive heart right now ♡ ally williams is climbing up the list of my favorite authors and as i said in my review for the first love and city lights book, i will definitely be tuning in for the next one in the series!

“You've always known me, love. I've always known you. And I'm so-I'm so desperately in love with you-”

this book left me with a lot of questions and uncertainties. it was hard to imagine really what was going on at times. there was so much going on and was really messy but i still enjoyed it! not as strong as the last 3 were tho

but nonetheless, kenji CARRIED!!!!

We try to just live our lives, live with each other, live with ourselves. Accepting joy when we find it, bearing grief when it finds us, and being amazed at our children's happiness without falling apart when we think that we can never really protect them.

i have been emotional asf recently, so when i opened to the first page of the book, I STARTED SOBBING! i was intimidated by the page count but i feel like it was an appropriate length for everything that happened here. it was steady for most of the book, and then during the final quarter it just started getting really tense.

i don't think i've experienced this much anxiety and chest pain while reading a book. it was intense and even as im writing this i feel so uneasy. numb.
i am completely gutted.

benjamin ovich i love you so much. you deserved everything and more in the world and i hope with my entire heart that you are safe and happy.

“The sadness shouldn’t cancel out what had been so bright and full and beautiful. Just because the cherry blossoms would fall didn’t mean you should mourn them on the tree.”

i don't even know where to start with this book. like...

i started this in january and the reason it took me so long to read it is because it was sooo sad and heartbreaking that i would have to take week breaks at a time bc of how heavy it was.

the one thing i love about this book is that it focuses on the grief someone experiences AFTER the person dies. this book did that, but also included snippets of time before death. usually books just build up to the characters death, which is all the more heartbreaking. but reading and experiencing joshua's grief with him over the course of a year tore me apart. physically ripped me to pieces.

im pretty sure i cried every time i picked up this book. it was difficult to read this in one go bc i was just not mentally there and i knew it would break me. this is a 5 star book but because i am not gods strongest soldier and an empath i almost gave it 4 stars bc of how long it took me to read all of it. but i only have myself to blame for that.

truly beautiful, love in its purest form, raw and heartbreaking, tragic, healing, and inspiring.

“The complicated thing about good and bad people alike is that most of us can be both at the same time.”

the 2nd book of beartown was good, but i felt myself getting bored. at times it was very sad and frustrating but i can see how someone would like this. i just really enjoyed the first book better. hopefully the final one will live up to the first

also i love benji
