Not quite as fleshed out as the first, some of the writing and plot development felt a bit lazy at times. However, overall it was an enjoyable read.

The beginning was great, I was hooked immediately. However towards the final chapter, of the eldest daughter, I felt the story started to wane. I wasn't quite as engrossed in the character development, and I felt a little disappointed at the end. Overall amazing writing, beautiful language, awesome syntax.

The language was some of the most beautiful I have ever read. The plot was all over the place, though, and the jumping around made it hard for me to stay invested. A good read, just not for me.

I was a bit disappointed with the end. Somewhere around the middle I got lost in all the names and use use of the same name for a plethora of characters. An interesting concept and premise, though.

I love this woman, I love her life's work, and this book was nothing short of amazing-like all her work.
