Awwww well that was just the cutest ending. I was loving Jeb as soon as the book started and he was the only character I liked all the way through so I'm more than happy that the book ended with his story.
The ending made this book a 3 star but the rest of the book was more of a 2. Nothing special, don't think I'll read it again but I'm glad I gave it a go.

Wow.. what a read.
I'm glad I read the updated/extended version as I was feeling very annoyed by Elizabeth Kendall, don't get me wrong I did feel bad for her but that state of mind she was in was hard to accept and kind of heart breaking.
Luckily years later after plenty of help and support she's in a much better place and I could end the book feeling content with how both Liz and her daughter Molly are handling things.
The story was a slow start but it was to be expected, this was a full recollection of their life with Ted Bundy so they of course started right at the beggining, when Liz first met Ted.
That being said it was written well and as the story got further in, it got much deeper and darker.
I usually enjoy crime stories but I can honestly say I can't describe this as an enjoyable read, it's heartbreaking to read this from the people that were closest to him but still one worth reading.

I initially rated this book a 3 stars, I've came back to hold my hands up and say I was wrong. After finishing the last book in the trilogy I was amazed by how much character development went on throughout the full series, the added details, the added metals/abilities and the added creatures, Sanderson was constantly giving the readers more, this whole series gets a 5 out of 5 from me.
I have so much respect for Brandon as an author, how easy he made the story for me to get into in such a complex world, he didn't give his secrets away too soon and I couldn't get enough of his writing.
Vin has been a favourite of mine since The Final Empire and she got better and better in this book, there was a character that showed up throughout this book 'the villain' who I loved and all of the creatures in this instalment were at their peak, so, so good!
I don't want to say much else as I could easily spoil things, I just want to shout about this trilogy to everyone but I also don't want to do a spoiler review because I'm hoping some other non Fantasy readers or even avid Fantasy readers, see a review like this and want to pick it up! If you do - have fun, it's a great time.
