This was kinda perfect, a perfect instalment in the Will Trent series, perfect for the characters, perfect for the readers. The Silent Wife (instalment 10) will be very difficult to match/beat, but this book felt important to the main characters' development.

I'm truly obsessed with Will Trent and Sara Linton, the last chapter of this book had me smiling from ear to ear, the whole thing was such a gift to read. Karin Slaughter is an incredible author!

I really freaking liked the idea of this, I loved the message behind the story, and it got me thinking. I wish I could read more, but also, I don't need more? It was just perfect.

Both the story and the audiobook narration bored me :(

This was clever!

I hated a lot about this book and I don't think the audiobook helped, but I also enjoyed a lot about this book, I'm hoping if I move on with the series and just read the physical editions then I may end up enjoying it a lot more?

It's got some parts The Last of Us and some parts From in this story but not executed as well.

Think I read this at the perfect time of year as it was giving horror!
