A great continuation, I love the training with Ichigo. That being said I might have to start watching the anime as whenever I take a small break, I find myself a bit overwhelmed with trying to remember all of the characters.
The focus here was Renji who I love following. Continuation of a great series, reiterating the fact that I should watch the anime so I can keep up with all the characters!
Bookshops & Bonedust was exactly the kind of book I needed at the time I picked it up: light, fun, and cosy. It provided an easy, comforting read that was perfect for unwinding. However, I have to admit that it didn't quite capture the same charm that Legends & Lattes did.
I thoroughly enjoyed the focus on the bookshop setting; it was warm, inviting, and felt like a great place to escape to. However, outside of the bookshop scenes, the story didn't hold as much interest for me. The few action bits, while minimal, distracted from the cosy, character-driven narrative that I was hoping for.
That said, Bookshops & Bonedust did its job well. It offered a pleasant and easy read, and for that, I can appreciate it for what it is.

I recently read Wisdom from the Four Agreements and I appreciated how the book offers simple reminders on how to live with integrity, compassion, and mindfulness. The wisdom in its pages is timeless, and it's the kind of book you'd want to keep on hand for those moments when you need a quick dose of clarity or inspiration. It's certainly piqued my interest in picking up the full version of The Four Agreements to dive deeper into the ideas presented here.
If you're looking for a book that provides impactful advice in a compact format, Wisdom from the Four Agreements is a great choice. It’s a handy little companion that gently nudges you to reflect on how you want to be and act in the world.

Rukia's execution is here and we get all of the action in this volume! The series continues to at a high standard and I'm looking forward to experiencing more from this journey.
Original review: Such a great book, loved reading and listening to this through audible. Once I got past the pronunciation of names and went through it properly to make sure I knew what was going on I just loved it. I usually take my time reading large books, large being 400+ pages but I couldn't put this one down, I defiantly recommend it to everyone! I didn't think I'd like it but it surprised me how good it was.
Reread: A Game of Thrones is a reread for me, but I haven't reviewed it here, and I think it deserves to be spoken about

Another review on here asks if you can rate a book 6 stars yet? And I'm asking the same question!! This is beyond 5 stars, this book is just AMAZING. I've loved every one of Chris Carters books in the Robert Hunter series and is officially my favourite series I've ever read. I love crime/thriller/suspense novels but An Evil Mind tops every one I've ever read! Exceptional writing and just an amazing, thrilling story! W O W. It had me hooked from the start, right until the last sentence, just amazing!!
“There are pieces of them still in there ... I hear them screaming.” - John Coffey - “Like the drink, only not spelled the same way”

This has been on my to be read list for a while now and many people have told me to watch the film, I wouldn’t watch the film until I had read the book though, you know how it is right? Well I went into the book knowing VERY LITTLE about it and to be honest I wasn’t expecting a lot, but what I received was amazing, really epic writing by Stephen King.

“I’m tired of people being ugly to each other.”
I loved nearly every character in this book and hated one or two, but the characters I hated made so much of the book, they needed to be there and King wrote them so, so well. I think this may be my favourite of his work so far.

“Baby Jesus, meek and mild, pray for me, an orphan child. Be my strength, be my friend, be with me until the end. Amen.” - John Coffey

All I’ve got to say is this is the first book that has actually made me sob. My heart got broken, broken and broken again.. then it was stitched up a little then it got tore right back open.. I might need a while to heal.
.
All you’ve got to do now is read The Green Mile if you haven’t already.
