this book put me back in the feeling of being a 15 year old getting in trouble for reading during class. genuinely had trouble putting it down. even ignoring the complicated gender feelings it gave me, Peters is a fantastic author and the writing itself is so good

Fairly slow read. Very culturally important, for a long time it was the best, if not the only, book on the aids crisis in popular culture but it’s 2020 now and there are simply better options.
