It’s a fine book, I just found myself far too separated from the topic to fully immerse myself in the book.

An entertaining read. As a Torontonian living outside of Toronto, I really appreciated all of the references and words that remind me of home. As a U of T/UC alum, I also truly appreciated the bits of U of T history that were included! I would have liked to see some themes developed further but overall it was an enjoyable read.

This read somewhat lost me halfway through. It was enjoyable and informative enough, and rather interesting.

This novel is made of all the same materials that comprise my heart. It is incredibly beautiful and blue, bursting with a rare and wonderful love. Cypher seamlessly blends folklore with reality to create a profoundly moving portrait of an auntie and her girl. This is, without a doubt, one of my favourite novels and will live in my heart for many years.

I have had enough of the ableism and racism in this book and don’t care to progress any further.

As a disabled individual with a partner who has lost vision due to an autoimmune disorder, this was an invaluable read. I appreciate Andrew’s intersectional approach to speaking on his disability and the massive amounts of information he shared. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone as it is of great importance to understand this journey and the many people who walk the same road. Thank you for this.
