Did not finish book. Stopped at 23%.
Writing felt amateur for me and i just wasn't enjoying myself reading it. The plot did have potential and I do appreciate the opportunity to read the ARC, this book just wasn't for me

Heart wrenching at the end, excellently written

I don't know much about Shakespeare or have much theater experience, but the references and quotations were so satisfying, and the vibes were exquisitely illustrated where I felt I was there myself

I'm gonna give this book 3.75 stars. Overall I enjoyed it a lot. I loved the setting, Moira Jean was an entertaining protagonist, and much smarter than I.
The beginning of the book for me was a little on the slower side, and I didn't get engaged until about halfway through. Although when I did get hooked, I was HOOKED. The second half the book was very good and I greatly enjoyed it.
I think I was more satisfied with the ending than I expected, I personally would have caved to The Dreamer. I felt like the pacing was the main issue with the book, sometimes it felt too slow, and other times it felt like it sped past things way quicker than it should have. I also wished it had leaned more into the horror of the Fae, but that might be more personal preference.
I did enjoy the book a lot, and I thank Harper Voyager for the e-ARC.

Honestly, this was a very nice read. It was just a very hopeful sapphic book, and left me feeling warm.

The writing itself was well done and captivating but this story was just not for me, I didn't enjoy my time reading it, and any sort of message the text conveyed was not very effective in my opinion.

Honestly I really enjoyed this. The tone is a lot different from what I usually read, but I love how it's completely from the Queen's POV. The story flowed beautifully, and I really enjoyed the ending. The notes from Colleen Doran at the end were interesting, along with the sketches she shares in them. Overall, I really enjoyed this.

This was such a good book, I was holding back tears in the epilogue, I think Aiden Thomas is an instabuy for me now. I got so emotionally attached to all the characters and I really felt I was in there in the story. This was just an excellent experience.
