I found the ending disappointing
I can't believe Ava wasn't real the whole time
I felt like the magical side of the story could have been explored deeper as it seemed random and really without explanation. This really impossible thing just happens and we don't understand why or how it works.
I liked the protrail of female friendships and found that the main characters feelings were relatable at a lot of points

It's 💯 romanticising mental health, I wish it was just Benny's story. I enjoyed some of the narrative being the book but it got old quick. I really did love Benny's story and saw was an incredibly thought provoking read

So interesting the characters read as real people, I love the format. Just sad I can't hear the songs. The characters are so real raw and human and how all the threads are so perfectcly linked? The sadness but the characters!!!!!! Great talk of addiction and abortion, relatable! New fave!

Brilliant character development, gave the point of you of view of a life I didn't know of religious guilt in the LGBTQ+ community
