Loved this one! It was fun and fast paced. Beautifully descriptive. I found the characters to be lovable and complex. Highly recommend.

Very unique book.
I wanted to give the MC a big hug. I liked that the MC was switched as awkward and skiddish. Oh, also it was cool that she was a vegetarian. I felt represented haha. I wish she stayed in touch with Oliver. I think a few things went over my head and left me with questions.
What was the point of the dead foxes -foreshadowing of death?
What was up with the supernatural elements like the candles & lights going out?
Dishes breaking? Face in the wall?
This was a quick read and I def want to give it a reread at some point.
Overall, definitely worth the read.

My favourite stories of the collection were:
There something in First Landing State Park
The Reunion
The Final Wish Foundation
A Song for Sam
Gemma has an amazing ability for creating characters with very distinct voices. You feel like you're really inside their mind.

Fierce fever dream with an unsatisfying end.
I feel like a lot of it went over my head. Would probably help if I knew more about Greek mythology or Medusa's story.
At no point in my reading could I anticipate what was going to happen next, and that's what kept me interested in the book. Might be worth a reread at some point.

At first, it was cringe and bordering on Limerence. It felt like the male version of My Husband by Maud Ventura. The Rome trip was the beautiful turning point. The dad's speech at the end made me tear up.
FYI: The pacing is really slow. There are some graphic sexual scenes.
