This book deals with some incredibly heavy topics—but told from the perspective of Bea, they’re lightened. The way that things can feel so dark when you’re going through them but you often can’t let them overpower you because at some point the dog will need to go for a walk and you will need to go to the grocery store. That is to say, we carry these things with Bea.
