if you read this while acknowledging that bj and magnolia have a toxic relationship and knowing that this isn’t realistic then you’ll most likely enjoy it. read it as it is. messy, toxic, drama.

This book felt longer than necessary. I despised how Jacob was treated. It seemed so unfair for Bella to string him along while knowing her heart would always belong to Edward.

Holly Jackson has a way of writing mysteries that I love. Her books don't feel too long or short and once you realize what happened, you'll be shocked but also excited to see where it goes.
Bel was an enjoyable character. She wasn't perfect and she didn't hesitate to get to the bottom of things which allowed the story to run smoothly and fast. Her way of thinking allowed the reader (or at least me) to reach conclusions fast and right when she did.
I was expecting the story to go on way and utilize the documentary crew to find out why her mother disappeared but I was pleasantly shocked when the story took a different route.
My only problem is the ending. It felt clumpy and like things were being over explained. It felt just a bit longer than necessary. But other than that, the ending was satisfying and the happy ending well deserved for the characters.

While the Twilight franchise isn't perfect, I found myself deeply enjoying each and every moment I had with it. The writing isn't the greatest but it doesn't have to be. You can practically feel the love Bella and Edward have for each other without needing extravagant words depicting it.
The subtle transformation Bella has when she's a vampire is the most well written thing. No more blushing or feeling embarrassed or being extremely shy. Bella was now outgoing and more herself than anything.
This series will always be so precious to me and this was the perfect ending.
I will say that I didn't particularly enjoy Jacob's section. He quickly became a least favorite character for me.

Going into this book after having already seen the movie, I was expecting something closer to that. I was extremely surprised to see that it surpassed any expectation I had.
The book follows someone interviewing many people of many countries as they tell their stories of what they faced during the 'zombie war'. I found that the book and its situations seemed a little too realistic. I could see America acting exactly as they did in the book. This isn't a bad thing but more shocking and enjoyable. It felt more real, like this actually happened.
Overall, the writing was great and the format of the book was surprisingly enjoyable. I would recommend this look over the movie. You don't need to be a horror fan to enjoy the book either.

I would recommend this book to anyone. Even if you aren’t a reader, this is a book everyone should read. The story and messages are things i think everyone should know and read about. The gut wrenching moments were truly sad and the funny family moments were amazing. Everything flowed beautifully and I cant believed I finished it so fast. I loved every second. If you are thinking of reading this book, do it. Please.
