Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.
There’s nothing bad to say about the writing. My mind just can’t comprehend or enjoy writing for the 1800s. I know Edgar Allen Poe is remarkable in his own right. I just can’t get much from it with my 21st century mind.

It was a decent, relatable story. The concept of a gamer finding out that she actually possesses magic in real life is a cool plot to explore.

Such a marvelous book, or else I wouldn’t read 1,200 pages of it. It’s the longest book I’ve ever read in my life! 🎉

I’m still amazed by the depth of the characters and details of this world. It’s why I still read the descriptions of the houses at the end of the books. The world is so big. The book goes so slow, but it’s worth the read. I want to continue the series, but I need a short break to recover my strength haha.

Such wisdom is found in these pages. It would do the world leaders much good to read this and try to understand opposing viewpoints better.

You need endurance to make it through this one, but it’s worth it.

I like the complexities of George R.R. Martin’s world-building. He breaks down each house and every single person in those houses. He says how they died or what they did, even though they may never have a role in the story. This just gives us a glimpse into his imaginative mind.

It was very affirming and encouraging to know that I’m not alone. The only critique I have is that it felt a little short, but that is my opinion.

It was good enough to keep me engaged, however, I didn’t love it. Some of the characters were annoying and I couldn’t sympathize with them.

A really valuable read. It’s a short book, but the author presents everything in a simple, practical manner. There are some key lessons that I will definitely take away from reading this book!

What is not to love? It’s great to see two great spiritual leaders from different religions sharing in dialogue and life together. They share such wisdom and insight, that I think we can all learn a lot from their teaching. The book also includes a lot of practical exercises at the end.
