For once I don’t exactly know what to say. I’ve been sitting on this review for a bit now… It’s partially because I don’t want to give 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 away! It was such a great book!!
The author did her research and it paid off. I was really invested in all the characters and how things started to play out through them. It’s told in multiple POVs, Dee, Ted, Lauren and of course Olivia the cat.
I really teared up at the end. It was bittersweet for sure but I was happy for a certain someone.ꨄ

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book!! Horror books are such a letdown sometimes but this one was written wonderfully! It was a classic background of a farmhouse being renovated, secrets from the neighbor, a creepy well and things hidden in the basement…
It worked out great and the end was awesome! It was a book I didn’t want to put down and I couldn’t stop thinking about it and what would happen next until I got to pick it up again!
Classic horror story in my opinion!

If you like classic horror… where the plot is predictable yet great, then you’d love this book!
I love reading horror books and watching horror movies and this reminded me of one of those horror films that sounds so bad but it turned out great just based off the story.
I really enjoyed this book and it was easy to read.
It’s definitely an interesting plot and turn of events throughout, a slowish build but a fast paced ending you couldn’t put down!

OMG!
What a wonderful way to end a series! I was so happy with this fourth hook. I was waiting for what felt like FOREVER to read this and it did NOT disappoint.

Get to this last book sooner rather than later if you’ve been a fan of this series! I can’t wait to read: Devourer Of Men next!

Wowwww. I started this book and was immediately intrigued. It had a BIT of a hunger games vibe to it; But it wasn’t that. Super creative book, the pygsmies seem adorable yet powerful. Laurelin had one goal in mind, but as things progress, ideals change for the good of all of Ausland. I really loved the different powers everyone can have, how they’re used and how well everything was described. I could clearly see what was happening throughout and I just couldn’t put this book down!! I’ll keep looking into this authors other books as well, it was such a great read!

SUCH A CUTE BOOK. I really enjoyed reading this one! It was cute, funny, romantic, and just a tad frustrating at all the right moments. This enemy to lovers trope is SO relatable. Lizzie and Brian are the reason why opposites attract and I was completely for it. I was laughing out loud a few times to where I had to put the book down, laugh, then try reading more. I read it in one day, only thinking about it when I had to adult, and when I finally had a spare moment of any amount, I picked it up and kept going. I really didn’t think I would love this book as much as I did! I am sad it’s over honestly.

A very interesting read. Apparently this book is based off someone’s experience which is just… wow. (It says in the acknowledgments in the end). Having the POV of Jules and her mom was great. With Suzanne, Jules’ mom, you see the psychiatry behind it all, along with past trauma creating this need to help another who was abused. From Jules, you see her teen life being completely derailed from what was once normal and the tension it creates between the whole family. Then there’s the cult… it’s a lot. Everything was intertwined in such a way that it keeps you intrigued to keep finding out more. There were a few times I was super angered by how people reacted to things. Like, the mom… hello, you have kids yet Mae becomes the only thing to her. Jules anger is never truly addressed. I don’t know.. I thought the ending was wrapped up a bit fast too? But at the same time, it didn’t really need to be drawn out. Not sure how to feel about that but either way, a decent and fast read!

Such a fun, cute story!! Told from both POVs of James and Carey, you get to see both sides of the coin. Work is everything for Carey, her life is in Melissa’s hands, literally. Her character really blossoms from an almost pushover to a stronger, independent version of herself. She lets Melissa rule her life and decides to finally try and do things for herself towards the end. The relationship between James and Carey is adorable and I loved what he brought out in her.
♥️Loved this book!
