All the Stars and Teeth by Adalyn Grace

While this book is filled with tropes, they were all enjoyable and strung together well. I won't say I LOVE this book, but it was fun to read!
House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas

2 stars.
I'd been putting off reading this for a while because I needed to cleanse myself of SJM after finishing ACOTAR, which I was disappointed by. However, self-isolation has made me in need of reading material so here we are:
The villain was kinda boring and a little reminiscent of Maeve from ToG in the sense that she was not a very interesting character. The discrimination Bryce experienced was interesting, and it both showed a part of her character while also explaining a part of the setting's culture. That said, she was the ONLY Half-Fae in the entire book. If I were to have seen more Half-Faes interect with the world, that would've been interesting.
I liked that Bryce was vocal about how she enjoys masturbation. It's not common, so that was neat. Seeing a woman character who was confident in her sexuality is always important because of how demonized it is for women to be so. So, points for that!
Danika was the most interesting woman character in the book (in my opinion) and she was dead for most of it.
I heard a lot about the book length being a little too much and I agree. I found myself skim-reading a lot in the beginning because I was being given a lot of knowledge forcefully and all at once.
It was enjoyable to read. Bryce and Hunt's chemistry was a refreshing take on developing romance: it felt to me as if their relationship might not even be romantic but a love similar to hers and Danika's, but with sex.
Overall, I didn't dislike the book. There were a lot of moments that I enjoyed, mostly the banter! That said, she included a lot of info I personally didnt feel necessary, and neglected other topics I think could've been examined more. But hey! If you have lot of time to kill, this book is definitely time consuming.
