It fascinates me how the supposed “horror” elements were the least horrifying of this whole story. There are indeed worse things than the devil. 

I need time to process this in my brain, but this might be one of my new all time favourites.

It feels a bit silly giving a 5 ⭐ rating to a short story collection but I enjoyed every second of this. Murakami is one of my favourite authors. The atmosphere of his stories always makes me feel like pretending to be in a music video while watching the raindrops fall against the car window (… is it just me?) Also, I personally LOVE playing “Murakami bingo” 🌻
