This is 100% one of the better books from Lucinda this is the 3rd book I’ve read of hers & it’s the best. It wasn’t in my opinion a 5 star book however it’s gives insight on grooming & abuse etc. happy the ending had a bit of justice. Very thought provoking unlike and genuinely makes you feel emotions for the characters. It is a very dark and triggering book so I wouldn’t advise if you have triggers in certain aspects. Easy read

For a thriller person whose main reads are thriller based I predicted it very early on in the book the whole plot however i wasn’t disappointed with the book and i genuinely was intrigued to see if my prediction was right and how it came about. It’s a very short book that I finished in a couple of hours and I did really enjoy it. I would recommend for anyone that wants a short thriller book to sink their teeth into.

Conflicted to be honest it was quite obvious from a few chapters in who did it, a few curve balls that was thrown in yes was good but honestly was quite underwhelming didn’t get my head spiralling. Very much gone girl this book is and an easy read. Wouldn’t be reaching for it again but still a good read

I’m so conflicted with this book, it wasn’t a easy read it didn’t draw me in and I think it was because of the sheer dislike for the main character and the same feelings of that throughout. Yes it’s a dark book however it does display real things and *trigger* suicide. I still can’t grasp the main basis of why she felt the need to make people come to the decision of killing themselves. Like I understand the whole fixation on listening to their last breath but it still didn’t give depth on the fixation. It was briefly mentioned I dunno maybe I needed more depth on that part. The ending really didn’t give me any satisfaction and actually really annoyed me because in the basis manipulation won. And yes I understand that can happen in real life but I am also a person that loves a lil bit of karma when the person in the book is such a horrible character however I don’t think the karma for the character was enough. And if you read the book you will hopefully why my theory is this because although the basis was for her to have a mental breakdown again it’s not justice for everything else. It was a ok book I wouldn’t say it’s my favourite from John Marrs personally

Daisy Darker omg I can’t believe I’ve only just discovered this masterpiece of a book, I kind of predicted the plot of the “killer” early on however it completely surprised me. The masterpiece of the writing & poetry was amazing. Why did I feel emotional towards the end when it’s a thriller book. It definitely gave me a turbulence of emotions and a sense of relief at the end. I absolutely adored this book and I would 100% recommend I would say this is a top book I’ve read this year

I didn’t enjoy this book, I was bored half way through I think it kept me entertained the frustration of how dumb the main character was. The big secret was underwhelming, the storyline felt 🫠I felt compelled to finish the book however I wouldn’t be reaching for it again. However for people divulging into this kind of style this book might be a good taste. Just writing style and plot wasn’t for me and rarely kept me engaged wanting more. A little disappointed

😶well alice has made me question my whole existence on thriller books and has humbled me because I thought I had the plot down and knew what was happening 50% in I was convinced. The next 40% of the books my thoughts changed then I was even more convinced I figured the plot. Nope last chapter Alice was like be prepared to be humbled because you don’t know nothing. And to be honest I didn’t 🤣. This book got me back into thriller books again this month omg, the twists and turns throughout even though the book is only from a point of view from two main characters and a mystery character who doesn’t get named etc but showcases a mini pov of what they did etc. The book is absolutely excellent.

Definitely smutty but wouldn’t say it’s the most smutty I’ve ever read, I felt a bit bored reading it. If I was rating the comments and reviews on this book I would give 5  🌟 because they are absolutely entertaining. If you like a lil bit of smut and abit of forbidden rules I would recommend, it is definitely a fantasy book and does give a lot of description
