This has been the worst mythological retelling I’ve ever read. If you hoped that the story would actually respect what Daphne went through in mythology, you’d be disappointed. It felt like you could replace Daphne with an OC and the story would make more sense and all the myths being “retold” here felt as if the author had read the Wikipedia pages 10 years ago and did no other research.
