This was an incredibly insightful book, even if a bit outdated. I found myself, someone interested in green initiatives and environmentalism, shocked by the wastefulness saturated in every last bit of our culture. I'd encourage everyone to pick up this book and give it a try!

I originally started this book after picking it up for a research paper. At first, it was interesting and not too difficult. But as I progressed, the not-so-subtle bias and the overall dryness of the work left in collecting dust on my bedside table. Do I recommend it? Not really.
