Being a queer Muslim myself, I’m glad a book like this exists. The concept is really interesting, and it was really cool to see these stories that I grew up with be interpreted in a way I haven’t seen before. But the writing was distant at times, and it was only at the last chapter that the author lets us in, but by that point it was a little too late.

Ultimately I just wanted more.
