Silk is a side character in her own solo series. She looks cool in the different dream outfits, so there's that I guess. But this is more Albert's story. We even learn more about Saya and her brother than we do about Cindy.
The opening of the book is weird and consists of of Tess trying to get people in bed together and kissing her uncle in an attempt to find out how babies are made. I feel like this would be an uncomfortable read. I also don't care for white feminism.
The characters aren't interesting enough. This is the kind of story I'd prefer to have in a movie that I could just put on while doing others things and chilling with family.
Not bad, just not in the mood for a slice-of-life book. And I already watch book recommendation videos, so reading a book about a character who recommends books is not very appealing to me.
It was really nice seeing the crew again for one more adventure. The writing and art are so spot-on it was like watching a time-loop episode of the show. The story worked so well in this choose-your-own-adventure book format, and it was fun figuring things out as I went down the paths. The ending was really beautiful too. My only complaint is that I wish there was a bit more Boimler, but I guess it was cool that different characters got their time on the page.
