emotional slow-paced

Wow 😭🥺

This book hit my emotions hard.

🥺🥺

I knew from the first moment I read about Slater in the first book that when I got to his, it was gonna be emotional.

I just didn’t realise how much. 😭

Watch him with Milo and Cody pulled my heart in so many directions.

His desire to keep Cody at arms length not just because of his age but also for the respect he had for his friends. Made me want to scream.

Then in comes Milo our little ball of sunshine that can dim quicker than a blown out candle once he open up heart.

Watching Cody and Milo help Slater with his doubts and anxiety warmed my heart. They saw him for the man he was and not the anxiety or fear that filled him.

Although Slater wasn’t the only one with his fair share of problems.

Both Cody and Milo had theirs as well and how each of them handled them at times had me feeling annoyed, but everything worked out well in the end.

One key thing in this book that all of the men followed even when it was difficult was communication. In a relationship like theirs, it was key to fully understanding each other.

Another amazing story.

One of angst and hurt with a whole lot of comfort.

Dash. Romeo & Tristan.

My god where to start with them. 🤣 As chaotic and beautiful as they were each of them had their own struggles.

Something that in Romeo’s case would cause a huge effect on him. The way his men rallied around him with his panic attacks was beautiful.

Each time his doubts screamed loud at how he wasn’t worthy of their love or that they’d leave once they knew the whole picture. Dash and Tristan proved time and again they were with him for the long run.

They were determined to stay with him and prove just how much he meant to them.

Tristan, oh my goodness. He deserved everything his men showered him with. Hearing what all his past relationships did to him had me wanting to hunt them down. 😡 How dare they do that to such a kind and caring soul.

Don’t even get me started on his boss and grandmother. 😡

Thankfully his men showed him just how worthy he was of their love. They also showed him that he didn’t deserve what happened to him.

Dash. 🤣 Where on earth do I start with him. He was the glue in their relationship. Bringing not only jokes but also a tad bit of possessiveness.

He was a huge ball of sunshine. Falling head over heels for both men the moment he locked eyes with them. And the way he acts around Jordon 🤣🤣. 10/10

Everything in this book was amazingly done and honestly I wish it didn’t have to end.

The way this author writes some of these issues in her stories is beautifully and respectfully done.

This was a beautiful story.

One full of heartache, pain, sadness and grief.

Casper. Reed. Elic.

Individually they were hurting but in different

Each of them were struggling with something.

Casper was struggling with staying away from Reed and keeping his emotions in check

Reed was struggling with watching the man he loved pulling away from him and hurting him to protect himself.

Elic. My god 😭😭

He deserves the bloody world and more. What he endured and experienced up until meeting his men had my heart cracking.

All three of these men were made for each other and I’m so glad they ended up together.

Even though they got their happy ending it didn’t come without its issues both with each other and the people close to them.

Thankfully everything got resolved and sorted but I can’t even begin to imagine what the next books are going to be like.

Especially if this book is anything to go by. 🥹😭

My goodness this book was an emotional rollercoaster, in the best way.

I loved everything about Xaiden. Corbin and Val.

Including their insecurities. Each one not only helped the other out but taught them how to value themselves and what they were feeling.

This story wasn’t like the previous 2. There wasn’t must action or tension or suspense.

What this did have was pure raw emotion.

The last few chapters had tears forming. God I wanted to wrap them all up in blankets and tell them everything would be okay.

Especially Cody and Olivia. Those two 😭😭😭 I’m so glad they got the family they needed and deserved.

All in all this book was amazing and I’d recommend it to anyone.

I absolutely loved this story.

Each of these men had something they were struggling with.

For Greer it was finding someone that saw him for more than sex.

For JJ it was finding someone that didn’t see his father but a man worth knowing.

For Dexen it was finding someone that could help break his carefully crafted walls and heal his destroyed heart.

These men were everything to each other. They healed what was broken. Mended what was cracked and showed each other that their relationship was more than just sex.

Even with their past relationships with each other. Those emotions and feelings never truly vanished or faded.

This was definitely hurt/comfort done in an amazing way. Would I have liked more angst 🤣 absolutely but this story will forever stay in my heart.

The narrators knew what to to bring these characters to life and they didn't disappoint in any way in that regard.

If you're an immersive reader I highly recommend doing that with this book. You won't be disappointed.

This book managed to get me out of my reading slump and honestly I couldn't think of a better book to do it.

From page one I was hooked.

I loved everything about this book even the angsty moments. God those moments with Blaze had my heart in my throat. He alone almost destroyed me.

Add in the tensions and those plot twists and I was gone.

Kane. Jaxon. Elijah and Blaze.

Each of them had their own issues and problems something they needed to work through individually but also together with their partners.

Watching Kane struggle with information that was revealed after he opened his heart to Jaxon but also the betrayal that followed. Made me want to comfort and shake him. I'm honestly thankful Eli was there to say what needed to be said even if Kane didn't like it.

This story was done beautifully and I really wished we got more in terms with how Jaxon and Eli dealt with certain things that happened to them. I wished we had a couple of scenes with all of them discussing those things and mentally checking in with them to make sure they were okay.

Other than that I loved this story and I really wish I could read it again.
