This books had cute moments, some laughs and a bubble butt to remember. Definitely sexier than previous books, but the couple felt kind of weak compared to Book 2. In fact I feel like Jeremy and Aiden stole the show at the end.

Soooooo good!! From enemies to lovers. I loved all of the characters and their delightful, raunchy humor. I'll admit that the plot was rather simple for a story about devil clubs and such, but I appreciate that was a part of an overarching theme about real world decency vs societal decency. But I did learn a lot of useful Latin, like 'fuck me' and 'blowjob'. I would love a sequel following other members of the Murder. 😁

I loved the chemistry between the characters. The sexual tension was amazing! I also appreciated their shared struggle being trapped under another's thumb. Theo was lovely and I adored his romantic yet skeptic insights especially concerning heroes and villains. As always KJC gives her characters a good witty humor and some good steamy scenes. The ending was a bit flat only because of its predictability. But I would love to read more of the pair.

I LOVVED this! A wonderful epilogue following Theo and Martin still happy and in love nearly 2 years later. Swann meets Raven from Band Sinister. Lol. I love KJC and her birds. And apparently there's a reference to Unfit to Print, which is next on my reading list.

3.5 stars. This book got me right in the feels and my heart cried for Liam who had endured such a hard life and garnered such little respect from his human peers. The alien dynamics and world building were well executed and the Rownt culture felt real. The relationship between Ondry and Liam was built on respect and 5 years of friendship. Rownt sex and human sex also don't mix. As a result their relationship wasn't the hot-fiery-tear-your-clothes-off thing I'm accustomed to reading about in mm romance. Which was a little disappointing but also refreshing. It was more about the feels than the lust. Though there is still a little lust thrown in. 😉

Beyond cute!! It goes from cute to sexy to funny to cute again. I loved this to bits. Not a stand alone story. This is like the fantastic cherry on top to the rest of the series. Little drama. Lots of joy. The bachelor party was legit the best part.
