Even Tree Nymphs Get the Blues by Molly Harper

DNF 18%. I honestly only downloaded this cause it was free. But I couldn't stand the guy's voice. Its like something was stuck in his throat. Not sexy. And for a nymph with dreams of opening up a creamery for the love of ice cream she was extraordinarily boring. Perhaps too much exposition at the start? I might have cared more if the MC's showed some personality instead of giving dull explanations and summaries.

I didn't think a haunted house story could be cute and romantic but LL proved me wrong. Bravo! Bravo!

A short story from Elizabeth Bennett's POV. It was funny, sweet, sad and all around heartfelt. Read AFTER Ravensong to avoid spoilers.

Wonderful. It had the humor and wit we expect of TJ Klune. Featuring Kori/Cori we are centered in the At First Sight world with some Bear and Otter guest appearances. More than anything this book was about social justice in the LGBT community and why the fight is all worth it in the end. It was educational for me. I live in a pretty conservative place. I mean my highschool had no gay guys which I know now as an adult just meant nobody was comfortable being out. I didn't know what enby was. TJ Klune taught me that. And he also gave some light to the struggle some people have to go through because of that lack of understanding- even within the LGBT community. Topped off with a sickingly sweet romance and a hot ass leather zaddy this book was ragingly awesome. Love all the characters to death. I REALLY hope TJ Klune will release a short featuring a certain "cracked-out queer version of the Avengers". But this book felt like an appropriate end to the series highlighting the best of TJ Klune.
Everyone should read this. It will give you a laugh and make you a better person. What kind of author can do that? TJ Klune, that's who.

4 howls singing for home. 🐺🐺🐺🐺
This book was a journey. Following Oxnard (Ox) through youth we see him struggle, love, and cry. He meets a young boy Joe who changes his life forever. Their love was so cute and heartfelt and for a minute there things were funny and rosecolored then like life badshit happened and although I wished for Ox and Joe to remain in their little bubble, in the end I loved how they developed into strong young men and the bonds they built. Pack pack pack. TJ Klune has such a unique style to his words. It's like poetry and hit me right in my heart. It was a beautiful tale and I want more and thank the gods of mmromance that there is a sequel for me to devour next.

The story is just as cheesy as the summary sounds, but I loved it. Hayden had a lovable humor. As a poor person in a big city with a useless college degree I was totally able to sympathize with him. Jesse was surprisingly down to earth and gentlemanly. I felt like sometimes it drooled and ranted a bit too long about gay prejudice. Not that stuff isn't important, but after the upteenth time I just wanted to know if Jesse and Hayden would kiss already- you know? But the humor was good, the characters felt real, the sex was great, and 100% HEA. Totally wish this could be my life. Jealous of Hayden and his sexy husband.
At Last: The Beloved Series by Stella Starling

Overall this is a sweet and light-hearted series to read. All three stories happen within the same time span and follow the same plot that Kelly Davis received a death threat. While each of the stories feature different couples with different reactions and roles to the threat on Kelly it still comes across as a bit boring. Drama and angst levels were LOW despite the involvement of death threats and stalkers.
But the point of this series is not to be a thriller mystery. Its to be sweet and endearing. So mission accomplished Stella Starling. I think it would be a wonderful read for February as the book's events circle around Valentine's Day. The bonus story at the end was my favorite and I will definitely check out more of SS works in the future.

For me this was he weakest of the series. The stalker plot line was fairly boring, which is really saying something. I admittedly thought Shane and Brandon were super cute together. But I kind of hated Shane's character. It was more than him being stupid and immature. But his sudden interest in Brandon seemed like a plot hole. The man simultaneously admitted to never looking at Brandon in a sexual light and then also that he has been pining over him for over a decade? Its kind of like, is it this or that? You can't be both cause otherwise you break the plot and frustrate readers like me. Typical fluffy sweet HEA.
