Just a little bored with the antiquated descriptions of various men’s genitalia having shall we say issues.

The narrator is making this book seem really dryly academic and boring; maybe it’s because they are talking about two of the most boring sports in the history of humanity: golf and chess. I’m going to try this in physical format and if I still don’t like it, I’ll call it a day.

This topic doesn’t particularly interest me (camping, outdoor living, etc) but I am a fan of this author so I’m going to look for something else he has written (probably the book he wrote with his wife Megan Mullaly).

Funny and charming, but at times a tinny bit predictable. I liked that the author didn’t solve Ransom’s blindness; I have seen in other books where an illness or injury is miraculously cured, which I personally find distasteful.

As a side note: I was hoping to get more of Ransom’s dog Magnus and Izzy’s ferret Snowdrip involved in the plot because I think it would have added even more hilarity to the proceedings.
