This is an ARC Review:

Wow, oke where to start. I loved how the plot was holding my attention the whole time. Even with the slow-burn at the beginning I still wanted to read further. The story is interesting and I definitely here for the next book! I see this book as a base to the rest of the story.

I wish the book was written in first person from dual perspective of Kira and Blake though. And I was a bit disappointed in lack of spice... From the descriptions on the back of the book I was expecting spice to be a bit.. more...

Nevertheless, it was a. perfect read for a spooky & witchy October!

Stacey has become one of my favourite authors really quickly in the past few months. This book have you on the edge of your seat YET AGAIN! I already said it, and I say it again, you fall in love with the characters and become so invested, I LOVE IT.

This book builds the story further out, but still leaves so many questions unanswered. I can't wait till the next book to find out what happens next because I have NO IDEA AND NO THEORIES. Normally I would've figure it out by now...

LOVED IT!

OMFG

Listen, I devoured this book!
It has everything:
- its funny
- its paranormal romance
- its enemies to lovers
- it has vampires, sirens, demons, angels, werewolves and witches… come on!
- it has all my faves song from my “badass women” Spotify list and I LOVE it.

I genuinely don’t know if I’m in love with the female MC of the male MC, I’m old enough to not have this confusion about the genders…

I came here for smut, stayed for the plot

I loved how this book was written, it was funny and sweary, sexy and romantic. I can’t wait to read the next book! Loved the main MC but also rVing about the supporting characters at the castle.

Definitely for the lovers of Amelia Hutchins’ Flames of Chaos.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an E-ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is just my opinion.

The book description had me very intrigued in the beginning but it did not deliver in the end.

I liked that the female mc was 35 which resonated with me. I liked the twists on history with famous characters.

But the rest was just very hard to battle through. The romance was not it for me, and I was expecting a bit of good vampire spice, but meh. I need more of a story that takes you places in you head and puts you in “another world”.

I still think there are a lot of people that would enjoy this book so if you love vampires and history go for it!.
