This was an OK read. I really enjoyed The Guncle and was looking forward to another adventure with Patrick, Grant, and Maisie. This felt like one idea stretched out over a couple hundred pages with similar conversations in different ways. I think this book could lose about 75-100 pages and be sharper, funnier, and warm hearts. The last 50 pages were great, but I was bored before we got there.

Stopped at chapter 22. This story is very flat and boring and I didn’t care about Lois at all.

The writing is pretty bad. Lots of the same information and conversations regurgitated in different ways. Also the way this author writes about women is gross.
