The SEPA Project by Jillian Moody

4.0

In the near distant future, the world as we know it, ceases to exist. Separated by a dome, inhabitants are broken into two groups. Those considered prosperous (Bhutanese) live within the dome and those less fortunate (Banjarians) are forced to fend for themselves in the barren desert. The decision makers of this new domain make up the three branches of government, all of which descend from The Family.

Although there is a definite divide, they all live by the motto “break bread, not bones.” To help keep this culture of peace, The Family has created the SEPAs. The go-betweens, SEPAs trade water and other supplies between the barriers of the dome. They are also trained to deescalate any rebels threatening the way of life. The SEPAs are a special group, but none can compare to SEPA 288.

Jillian Moody’s The SEPA Project is an unequivocal dystopian tale. Keeping readers entranced, Jillian creates a comprehensive scene of vast terrains, exquisite palaces, desolate wastelands, and everything in between. Include a storyline of unimaginable pain, deception, courage, and strength; this is a novel that keeps you coming back.

Though a limited amount of spelling and grammatical errors is revealed, a recognizable amount of borderline profanity is within. Plus, there is no descriptive sexual content but innuendos of sexual misconduct and abuse are present. Therefore, a rating of 4 out of 5 stars is given.

Please note, there are some very troubling and difficult to read depictions within these pages. If any of the following may cause you distress, read with caution: poisoning, genocide, isolation, tsunamis, arranged marriage, starvation, dehydration, war, mangled and bloody bodies, knife violence, death of child, betrayal, deceit, manipulation, prison, thievery, missing person, murder, bound and gagged, physical attack, sexual harassment, rape, alcohol assumption, hand to hand combat, orphan, fugitive, suicide, slavery, affair, viral outbreak, arrest, claustrophobia, helicopter crash, panic attacks, amputation, delirium, depression, mania, and execution.

A remarkable launch, The SEPA Project is a depiction of magnificent storytelling.

Thank you to #TheSepaProject, #TheSEPASeries, and #JillianMoody, for the opportunity to read this book and give my honest review.

Calista is learning not everything is as it seems. Aligned with a monster and betrayed by her queen, Calista questions where the truth lies. Determined to save Skazka and its people, she sets off on a quest to find answers. Even if that means paying the ultimate sacrifice.

Valia Lind scatters any preconceived notions in Majyk Reclaimed. The final volume of The Skazka Chronicles, Valia throws caution to the wind and takes readers on a voyage they never saw coming.

Add an exquisite writing proficiency and one will not find any spelling nor grammatical errors. Complete with a nonexistence of profanity and sexual content and 5 out of 5 stars is a deserved rating.

Given the series revolves around a war. Please read with caution if any of the following may cause you distress: mutilated and bloody bodies, burnt flesh, knife and sword violence, betrayal, deceit, physical attack, burned house, war, memory loss, incapacitation, tornado, murder, delirium, trauma, poisoning, banishment, prison, coma, and panic attacks.

An unbelievable conclusion to The Skazka Chronicles, Majyk Reclaimed, is beyond the valiant ending admirers anticipated.

Thank you to #MajykReclaimed, #TheSkazkaChronicles, and #ValiaLind, for the opportunity to read this book and give my honest review.

*Please note to fully obtain the top experience intended, this series is best read in consecutive order.

Brenden is committed to Calista, and not just because he is her second in command. Although he never expressed his feelings, he would do anything for her, even cross into the human realm. He has vowed to protect her, now if only he can find her.

Journey through Skazka from a new perspective in Valia Lind’s The Faithful Soldier. A recollection of the first two books in The Skazka Chronicles, readers experience the same events only from Brenden’s point of view.

Although a novella, Valia still fills the pages with excitement, romance, and intrigue. Add in a lack of profanity, sexual content, as well as spelling and grammatical errors then a rating of 5 out of 5 stars is the obvious conclusion.

Please read with caution if affected by any of the following: missing loved one, knife and sword violence, mutilated and bloody bodies, hand to hand combat, decapitation, war, burnt flesh, and ambush.

An extra insight into The Skazka Chronicles, The Faithful Soldier, brings an aspect to the overall story that supporters of the series were hoping for.

Thank you to #TheFaithfulSoldier, #TheSkazkaChronicles, and #ValiaLind, for the opportunity to read this novella and give my honest review.

Calista was certain that when her memories returned everything would make sense. Yet, the more she remembers the more confused she gets. Torn between the images in her own mind and the depictions from those closest to her, she struggles to find the truth. Is she actually the good person her friends describe, or will reality reveal something much more sinister?

Explore the lands of Skazka in Valia Lind’s Majyk Reborn. The second installment to The Skazka Chronicles, Valia entwines doubt, exploration, loyalty, and admiration into an explicit tale. Interlace the experience with battles, manipulation, and treachery, and this book will have you staying up all night.

Combine the story with an absence of profanity, sexual content, as well as spelling nor grammatical errors and one obtains a novel of superior writing quality. Accordingly, a rating of 5 out of 5 stars is given.

Set around a war, some events may cause one distress. Please read with caution if affected by any of the following: mutilated and bloody bodies, murder, war, betrayal, deceit, earthquake, abandonment, knife and sword violence, kidnapping, banishment, imprisonment, panic attacks, memory loss, isolation, burnt flesh, and decapitation.

A continuation of The Skazka Chronicles, Majyk Reborn, weaves itself into the minds of any fantasy reader.

Calista is a standard college freshman, or so she thought. When attacked by a few nasty looking monsters and saved by the attractive guy that has been consistently around, she soon learns she is anything but standard.

Tossed into a world of magic, mystery, and mayhem, Calista learns she is a very powerful fae. Stricken by the loss of her memories, she fights to not only remember her true self, but to save the world from the threat of complete darkness. Will she be able to unlock her actual past before it is too late?

Remebering Majyk is Valia Lind’s initial introduction to the Skazka realm. A story overflowing with mystique, discovery, honor, and love, Valia immerses readers in a world filled with beauty and wonder.

A demonstration of Valia’s dedication to her trade, an insignificant amount of spelling and grammatical errors was found. Plus, to ensure her tale is available to all ages, profanity and sexual content are excluded. Hence, a rating of 5 out of 5 stars is awarded.

Since the story does include a war, some of the following may cause one distress: physical attack, alcohol use, stalker, murder, knife and sword violence, mutilated and bloody bodies, memory loss, earthquake, kidnapping, thievery, stereotypes, boating accident, tornado, war, seizure, decapitation, panic attacks, betrayal, deceit, manipulation, double-crossed, and prison.

A grand quest mixed with a bit of Russian folklore, Remebering Majyk is a novel designed for the fantasy enthusiast in us all.

Thank you to #RememberingMajyk, #TheSkazkaChronicles, and #ValiaLind, for the opportunity to read this book and give my honest review.

After helping bring an immoral sorcerer to justice, Keren is ready to recoup. So, when an inquisitor from Las Vegas shows up demanding her assistance, she quickly turns him down. Still, his persistence prevails. Therefore, along with her motley crew of friends and allies, they take off to help contain the dragons. Wait… dragons?!? Aren’t they extinct?

D.J. Dalton turns up the heat in Entwined Fates. The continuation to the Twisted Curse Series, the story picks right up where Fallen Shroud left fans in wonderment of what comes next. Yet again, D.J. stretches known supernatural abilities with her unique phenomenon her main character possesses.

A seamless blend of risk, doubt, and devotion, combined with a touch of affection, readers are conflicted to read just one more chapter. Tie in the nonexistence of spelling and grammatical errors nor sexual content along with only two instances of borderline profanity and a rating of 5 out of 5 stars is the result.

Some actions may cause one concern, so please be aware of the following: genocide, murder, car accident, fatigue, betrayal, deceit, alcohol use, prisoner, hand to hand combat, threats, captivity, physical assault, mangled and bloody bodies, arrest, bullying, atrophy, broken bones, unknown illness, burning flesh, earthquake, explosion, kidnapping, poison, ambush, and bound and gagged.

Be forewarned, a superb addition to the Twisted Curse Series, Entwined Fates will leave you yearning for more. Cannot wait to see what D.J. has in store next.

Keren loves playing with her four imaginary friends. They not only make her smile, but she enjoys the obstacle courses she puts herself through to keep them from catching her. The fact that she is twenty-one and still interacting with her illusive friends isn’t a big deal, though, right?

Join Keren and her alluring friends in D.J. Dalton’s Fallen Shroud. The opening of the Twisted Curse Series, D.J. sweeps readers into a voyage of discovery, uncertainty, and loyalty. Be prepared to stay up into the wee hours of the night, as the need to know what happens next keeps the pages turning.

Although expected, the plotline moves fairly slow in the beginning as readers become familiar with all the characters. However, the speed does pick up, bringing lots of action and suspense with it. Recommended for new adult and up, there is only five instances of borderline profanity within as well as an omission of sexual content. Add a few spelling and grammatical errors and a rating of 4 out of 5 stars is given.

Please take caution if any of the following actions may cause you distress: hand to hand combat, knife and sword violence, unemployment, paranoia, brutally beaten, murder, missing loved ones, imprisonment, discrimination, mutilated and bloody bodies, genocide, racial inequality, theft, alcohol and drug use, kidnapping, torture, burning flesh, cruelty to animals, cardiac arrest, protective custody, harassment, bullying, betrayal, deceit, explosions, decapitation, earthquake, and fugitive.

The first book in the Twisted Curse Series, Fallen Shroud, occupies readers with a supernatural phenomenon. Make sure to look out for the continuation with book two, Entangled Fates, releasing January 16, 2022.

Thank you to #FallenShroud, #TwistedCurseSeries, #DJDalton, and #WeepingSpiderPublishing, for the opportunity to read this book and give my honest review.

Cordelia Keller is a fugitive trying to prove her innocence, part of a secret task force, and the only one able to save the world. Oh, and let’s not forget the man she has fallen for has gone missing. What is more, the people she considered family are the bad guys she is fighting against! How did her life come to this?!?

The last book in The Blackwood Supernatural Prison Series, Valia Lind’s Witch Ascendant, is a conclusion followers of the series deserve. Not only did Valia keep to the magical, unpredictable, and affectionate escapades she is known for, but she provided resolutions for all the problems.

Also, true to Valia’s writing capabilities, a limited amount of spelling and grammatical errors is involved. Plus, profanity and sexual content are excluded. So, as deserved, a rating of 5 out of 5 stars is the result.

Due to the series revolving around a supernatural prison, please take caution if any of the following actions may cause you distress: sword and knife violence, missing person, wrongfully accused, incarceration, murder, hand to hand combat, abandonment, paranoia, break-ins, betrayal, deceit, fugitive, torture, bombs, charred flesh, mangled and bloody bodies, sacrifice, body shutting down, explosions, coma, and numbers tattooed on arm.

An extraordinary finale to the Blackwood Supernatural Series, Witch Ascendant, has book lovers wondering what comes next within the Skazka Sphere.

Usually, the last thing a fugitive wants to do is go back to the prison they escaped from. Yet, for Cordelia Keller, going back is the only option.

Part of a secret task force, Cordelia is assigned with locating ancient relics she is uniquely connected to. Knowing the fate of the world depends on her obtaining these relics before the evil King does, she cannot deny the pull she gets. She has already escaped once; she can do it again… or at least she hopes so.

Return to Valia Lind’s realm of magic, surprises, plotting, and desire in Witch Awakened. Propelling readers further into The Blackwood Supernatural Prison Series, Valia evokes an unpredictable adventure.

Valia, also, ensures her story is appropriate for all readers. The nonexistence of profanity and sexual content emphasizes this aspect. In addition, she continues to showcase her proficiency as a writer with an absence of spelling and grammatical errors. Therefore, 5 out of 5 stars is the rating.

Please read with caution as the series revolves around a supernatural prison, and some actions may cause distress. Some of these actions include: arrest, incarceration, fugitive, missing person, ambush, hand to hand combat, sword and knife violence, mangled and bloody bodies, poverty, murder, bombing, paranoia, betrayal, deceit, tornado, manipulation, gagged, torture, and protective custody.

The third addition to The Blackwood Supernatural Prison Series, Witch Awakened, continues to shock fans with never-ending twists and turns. Plus, per usual, a jaw dropping cliffhanger keeps them eager for more.

Officially a fugitive, Cordelia has found herself part of a secret task force. Bound to an ancient relic in the form of a bracelet, it has been determined that her magic is the key to bring down the King.

Racing from destination to destination, she needs to find the remaining relics while keeping under the radar and being sent back to prison. Not to mention the growing attraction developing between her and the prison warden that helped break her out. All she has to do is let go of her intuition and trust that she is in capable hands. No big deal, right?!?

Once again, Valia Lind consumes her readers in a world of enchantment, disbeliefs, scheming, and a slow-burning romance in Witch Unchained. A continuation of The Blackwood Supernatural Prison Series, Valia hooks her readers from the first sentence all the way to the last.

Another demonstration of Valia’s ability to write for audiences of all ages, one will not find any profanity or sexual content.  Plus, with a minimal amount of spelling and grammatical errors, a rating of 5 out of 5 stars is the result.

Since the series is called Blackwood Supernatural Prison, please read with caution if any of the following may cause you distress: false imprisonment, pick-pocketing, thievery, dealers, smugglers, hand to hand combat, knife and sword violence, war, murder, betrayal, deceit, kidnapping, abandonment, and ambush.

The second installment to The Blackwood Supernatural Prison Series, Witch Unchained, ramps up the intensity. With yet another cliffhanger, this series keeps readers on their toes.
