3.5 stars overall (the writing was not great), but honestly, I give the story five stars. It is as if someone reached into 15-18 year old Laci’s heart and brain, and put it all into a book. No one will ever know what it’s like to love a band so much it hurts until they experience it themselves. Every feeling, every friendship, every dream I have had was just articulated in 346 pages by a woman I have never met, but who knows my soul. I feel a lot less alone, and 20 year old me feels like she never has to be ashamed of her obsessive, passionate, and intense personality. This book also confirms where I sit in my love of bands—I still love them & they’ve changed my life, in fact, I never have to be ashamed of that; however, they are only people, and real life is happening for them and me everyday. #Narry4ever
