This book was such an eye opener. It really made you think and took you to a place which could be real one day. Studying Sociology, this book was much more hard hitting as you find out that things like this has been done.

A fantastic, heartbreaking book. This is about the lives of children with bizarre illnesses and the lengths they go to to get out of their hospital.

A very interesting series from Darren Shan however I preferred his vampire saga's. Chapter two is one of the most gruesome chapters I've ever read in a YA book.
