This book is out today, thank you to the author and the authors agency for the e-arc

I will start off by saying I did enjoy this book however it’s not my favorite. I was hoping to get the same feeling the first book gave me which was being giddy and intrigued and I was laughing and just having a good time despite having issues at times with it, but this one and maybe it’s a me problem having expected that but I didn’t feel that. I enjoyed it, sure did but at times I felt like it moved really slow and dragged on overall, I felt like though I did like the characters at times they felt just meh to me and by the end me though I did get shocked by the turn of events it sort of irritated me too as well like for what? What was the reason? Like I said I did like the characters, if I’m honest I liked ivy way more than trace though I did appreciate his individual journey and felt proud of him in the end but I won’t see myself thinking of them often, my love for these characters is not deep rooted though like I said I liked them enough. I will for sure be reading the next installment because I’m intrigued about Juni and her two loves. So overall I liked this book, I appreciated the Femdom elements of the book and I loved that both our main characters were tattoo artists, I enjoyed the setting at the tattoo parlor and of course the small town, I enjoyed getting to see Dolly and Hudson again as well as seeing more of Deuce and Ev, that being said I felt like this book would have benefited in my opinion of being a bit shorter and I would have liked it more had it moved a bit faster, being 320 pages I think the slow burn can move a bit faster, like a line faster though at the same time I did appreciate the mundane feel to the story yet at times that was the issue too because it felt monotone and I got a bit bored though I never got thought of dnfing. So I mean it was a nice story and the romance was cute but not my favorite. Despite that I did like it overall and will be reading the next and final installment when it comes out

A novel love story by @heyashposton ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Elsy and Anders
I think that when it comes down to this book I’m having trouble putting into words what I think of it. It’s a story that has romance in it yet in a way the romance is a it upfront but not fully, is a story about books, a love letters to romance books, to that feeling of getting lost in a good book and for a moment forgetting about the world and how you wish you’d jump in, it’s about Elsy who finds herself in the town of her favorite book series, is about a bookstore owner in said town that didn’t want things to change, wanted things to remain as they were. It’s about letting go and being frozen and grief and finding yourself again and loving it too, it’s about loving books. I’ve always found Ashley’s books to be comforting and cozy in some ways because of the magical realism elements she adds yet they always make you feel, they are more than what they first appear to be, more than just seeing ghosts, an apartment who travels in time, a town taken out of a book, those books are about those things yet so much more. When it comes to this book it made me feel, it had me choked up at times, it made me happy, it got me intrigued and I flew through it, it made me feel most of all and I felt cozy and it felt comforting, yet it squeezed my heart at times, it felt mundane and real in some ways yet magical too, I guess that’s the beauty of her stories that they always have a dash of magic in a seemingly mundane story, they are beautiful and heartfelt and this one isn’t any different and I quite enjoyed it a lot. I loved the journey Elsy embarked on and Anders too, their journey individually and their journey together yet I guess it would also be their beginning, I loved the idea of coming across a town taken out of a book and I wondered if I ever were to meet my favorite characters what would I say or do? How would it be to live in the same town they do and see them everyday? Would I eventually leave or stay? Overall this truly just was a wonderful book and I can’t recommend it enough and I’m sure is one that I will forever hold close to my heart and think of it often
