Great development and I love that we start to see the impacts the cases and investigating is having on her mental health.

I love a book that forces me to think and engage and take notes in an attempt to make connections. This was so good.

I couldn't get into this at all. I finished it because I bought a physical copy and wanted to add it to my physical TBR challenge but man it was rough. The characters were very flat which made it really hard to care about them.
Also, am I the only one that had a problem with him not even caring to learn the goblins names because they 'were too hard to say'? You may not be pure evil anymore my guy, but you still aren't good.

Wow. I love thrillers and this one had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Our protagonist is a senior girl named Pipa who is stubborn and on the hunt for justice. She is a very strong protagonist, albeit a bit foolish at times. Safe Ravi is an amazing balance to her recklessness.
This was a case that just when you think you have it figured out something throws a twist on the path. It had me on the edge of my seat.
Keep in mind it is a YA novel and there’s a lot that’s not plausible when solving the case but if you have an imagination and can suspend your disbelief then it’s definitely worth it.
I do recommend the audio book. It has a full cast and they did an amazing job.

I'm convinced Olivie Blake hasn't written a book I won't enjoy. I really liked the twist on this one and retellings can sometimes be hit or miss for me.

The story was interesting but the characters were very inconsistent at time. We would be told one thing about them but be shown something that contradicts that information. Also, I really needed Este to get it together because the answers were RIGHT THERE but she just was more interested in getting the attention of the ghost.

I tried really hard to get into this because the idea is so unique.
