I just love the way that Emily Henry writes friendship! Alex and Poppy are so sweet and I love the way their different personalities work together. I was definitely rooting for them from the get go!
The constant time jumps brought me out of the book a little bit and I sometimes found it tough to figure out where we were at, but I did also enjoy getting the snippets of their lives as time went on.
I found Poppy to be a bit.. difficult to like at times, but I really appreciated the character development and introspection that we got by the end. Definitely took a bit to get there though!
A sapphic regency love story that had me absolutely hooked! I had so much fun reading this, and loved the bestie mischief that came along with Beth and Gwen trying to Parent Trap their widowed parents. It was fun and lighthearted while also making me cry at certain points, I just loved it!

I just love this book SO DANG MUCH. It just feels like nonstop action from start to finish, but still have enough character development and in between moments to keep you intrigued and invested. I feel like it’s the perfect tipping point between the first half of the series and the second, as it really starts to bring a different energy in the best kind of way. This was my first reread, and it was so amazing to meet certain characters again for the first time, and to experience characters meeting for the first time as well!!! Just pure magic.
First reread of the series and dang I love this book even more the second time! Seeing Celaena and Rowan’s mentor/mentee relationship develop and change throughout the book is just so fun, especially as Celaena goes from bratty to badass real quick. This book is just such a huge turning point in the story and I love it!

Oh my goodness, I did not expect to love this as much as I did! Dylan and Theo were just so sweet, and I loved learning so much about Chinese culture and cuisine in what felt like a very natural way throughout the book. The audiobook narrator was wonderful and bringing the characters to life and I didn’t want to stop listening!
