I thought this book was beautiful, very dark and full of plotting but that was the beaty. New York, witches, rival families and forbidden love, yes please. My first Romeo and Juliette retelling and it was a gooden!

I was disappointed with this one because it had such amazing reviews and the idea of a time travelling coffee shop yes please! But it wasn’t very exiting and perhaps that’s the beauty of it. The chair symbolizes struggle and changing peoples adversities, but it was a bit conservative with the story telling, and I just couldn’t get attached to the characters.
