I felt so many emotions listening to Viola’s memoir. What an incredible story. Viola Davis is a true talent, building her career from the ground up. I want to give 8 year old Viola a hug.
I’m glad she narrated this, no one else could do her story justice.

I really tried to give this 4 stars, the plot does twist and turn towards the end which did keep me reading. However, I struggled following the storyline at times due to the perspective changes, as well as the timeline changes.
I’d say it’s a good thriller mystery, but not really for me.
