This was super cute but slow at times. Love all the plot twists and even had me tearing up at the end.

Now, this is how you write a book! From the moment I started to read this book, I knew I was going to fall in love. I will admit it was a little hard to understand at the beginning but once I hit the 25% mark, I flew through this book. Everyone NEEDS to read this.

This book was just BAD. The idea of what this book was going to be sounded so interesting to me, stuck due to a storm with someone maybe out to get them....yeah no the storm was maybe in about an hour of this book. Just skip it, the characters are so annoying. Maybe I liked Hannah's main character, but that was about it.

also, the cabin owner has cameras everywhere in the house and no one is ever found them but his maid makes NO SENSE. I also don't understand how the whole DNA thing would have caused all this, just seemed like an easy way to connect all the characters. Lastly, the tree "blocking" the road was definitely moved to easily to make it so that someone could help them.

This book was kind of a mess. While I can appreciate that mixed media format can be a little confusing at times, this book was just a whole lot of what the heck is happening and why is it happening. My rating is this high mostly because of the parts that were more so a mystery and how the format was. I feel like you couldn't get a chance to get to know the characters because we kept bouncing around so much. Having this many characters in one book also made it so confusing. I would also like to say that the plot "twists" aren't very shocking at all. I would say if you've read a lot of thrillers/mysteries, maybe just skip this one.

After putting this book off for so long, I decided to finally give it a chance. I am so happy that I did. I ended up loving the characters of Victor, Mitch, and Sydney and the little family they've created. I don't know if I didn't care as much about Eli because we were first introduced to Victor but Eli's
god complex really got annoying after a while
I was on the edge of my seat and can't wait to read the next one.
