You can officially call me a Catherine Cowles stan because after having read this beautiful book, I have read her entire body of work. Absolutely obsessed and an auto-buy author for me for life!
The absolute queen of romantic suspense, this definitely hit the mark. I loved the fighter/sparring element and how badass and strong the FMC is even given her traumatic past. I love a billionaire romance, but make it small town with a side of “touch her and die” vibes and you’ve got me in a chokehold ❤️🔥 just so good!!
I really loved the dual POV and dual narrators in the audiobook, it worked so well and we were able to get inside the heads and hearts of both characters which I loved so much. These are some of my favourite characters Catherine has written and I loved how authentic their banter and chemistry was.
