I don’t know how to explain it but this series has been absolutely phenomenal and was only in the second book! Ryan and Grey were just my favorite, they both just had this real gentle vibe that came off the both of them. The circumstances of them coming back together wasn’t very pleasant for either of them. Like the worst quote ever known to humankind, everything happens for a reason.
Everything just seemed so steamy between the two of them. I mean the tattoo table???? Baha fine by me. After the other two stories that connect with this one, I wast expecting things to unfold like they did. To picture Gray in the position he was in finding Ryan. All I kept thinking the whole time was who are we getting a book about next? I won't spoil anything else. Y’all will just have to start from the beginning. I know I'll be back soon for K!!!er In My Pocket!

Until then,

Two Peas in a Pod

First things first, I need a better visual of these “Pods.” Where do you get one? They got them on ZON? Asking for a friend….

I was honestly drawn in by the cover. With all of Emily's books I read the TW’s, then jump in blind. If you are someone W/O Trigs. Do yourself a favor and double check…. Dark books mean dark. Not pink, BLACK. SNS.

Anyways, Ever read a book by the same author for a palette clear from another one of their series? Just me, bet. Masked desires did in fact have masks, TTL. Natalya had her work cut out for her. No pun intended. She was slaving away one day at work, when a customer came in (during) her (shift) and then it was all over from there.

Being my first Splatterpunk, I can recommend 10/10. If you read the TW’s first. As always dark=black. The beginning of the story sorta threw me for a loop, Iv never been one to have any Trigs but it got iffy there for a moment. I also laughed way more than I should have while reading this. The FMC’s twisted humor had me rolling, is that bad? Didn't think so. When she came out into the kitchen before she started packing then was  just like “ Ope, my bad. Just grabbing something real quick.” She was completely lost in herself but she still kept going. The hunt was worth it all, revenge is a hell of a rush. Then the complete anger I also felt about Jeff running his c0*k sucker the whole time, The end took too long for that homeboy to get his. But it was gotten. You had it coming my dude.

As always I loved this 5th book from the Watch Her series. I can’t remember the last time I made it through this many books in a series. Emily keeps me drawn in, crying and swooning over these strong women’s stories. I definitely needed a diagram for the family tree this time around. I’m definitely shocked at the ending twist. Stormy, my girl, you're one lucky lady!

It might be a little while before I come back with my review for the next one. Only because I’ll be busy reading other books Emily has written. I will finish her back list…eventually.

Please start by stopping by that one page with the two words at the top!

I am also wondering if I can claim workers comp for an WFH keyboard incident? Asking for a friend…. Never mind, Beckett answered it for me.

I definitely want to start out by saying I loved how damn awkward this story was. I think that helped everything to be more, I can’t even think of a word, maybe ridiculously adorable? Beckett is soft and sweet with Lola. Which is a lot more healing than finding someone who thinks they can just get what they want since you’re in a vulnerable state of mind.

This book definitely made me giggle and blush. I’m for sure WIPPED. I am looking forward to reading the next one!

Just what the fantasy Doctor ordered!

“She slept with wolves without fear. For the wolves knew a lion was among them.” If that isn’t the understatement to the whole plot of this story.
Garnet, also known as Red. I love that name for any Hard A-$$ FMC. Despite her setback about not being able to shift, Red still doesn’t live in the shadow of her brother. She’s committed to proving herself to being the stronger alpha who deserves the role. When the “true alpha” ends up disappearing, the Queen herself takes it apron herself to prove she is even more of a better leader, Red sets off to find all the missing wolves. With the help of her four fated-mates.
Have no fear, the RH is here! Red’s Gran let her in on a little secret before she gets going on her rescue mission that she has more than one mate. The rest of said mates join in one the voyage causing a lot of tension between duty and desire. Until they’re met with the coven of witches. Which is a part ill leave for the story to tells itself!

Okayyyy Grandma Betty, you dirty ole girl!

I’m not sure if Gran was waiting to be tagged in or what. Even dropped her current spicy read and all.

It was so great getting the chance to relive this book all over again! Queen Of The Night has been my favorite since I first read it last year. I have fallen into the N. Owens rabbit hole once again! Or maybe the sugar cabin in the woods if you really think about…..🫣

A definite 🖤  10/10 🖤 read if you want a great quick spicy Xs 3 Halloween novella!
