Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone

I think I bought this book on a whim at some point late last year or earlier this year and decided to give it a shot. And I am so glad that I did. This book has gotten me into so many more contemporary/literary books (as opposed to fantasy/sci-fi like I usually read)! The way this book was written just felt so real. I felt like I was feeling what the character was feeling and I just understood her and the twist at the end was incredible.

I bought this to read since it was a dark fantasy romance. I didn’t expect the twist on Cinderella and beauty and the beast kind of vibes that came up but I loved them. And I loved how the ending fit the whole plot of the book. It just made sense how the story progressed from start to finish and it was great. I can’t wait to read the next one!

This book was a good representation of deciding between what you lost and what you now have. It made me think and I am so glad that the main character did what was right for her and thought about herself instead of just picking "who do I love more?". She really considered which life she wanted and I loved that.

I enjoyed this one. It was exciting to see a lot of plot points start coming together. I thought the character and plot development in this one was good and the cliffhanger made me excited to read the next one.

Just amazing! I loved that even though so much had happened in the previous 4 books, there were still some secrets that were exposed in this book which kept it interesting. The end game that the characters had been leading up to was definitely as big as they were letting on. I would have been disappointed if they made such a big deal of things for it to be some tiny event. I also loved how the relationship between Lana and Logan ended. I think if it had ended any other way I would have been disappointed. I ate this book up and loved every minute of it! This is now one of my favorite series!

This book took me a while to get into. I honestly almost DNFed it but decided to keep going (and I am glad I did!). I Think about 65% (ish) of the way through the pace of the book picked up and a lot of the book really came together making everything I read up until that point make a lot more sense. I enjoyed the characters and the writing style. It was great to see more of the depth of the characters as the book went on and see them become more developed. This book is definitely worth the hype it gets and I am excited to continue the series!

Um....what???? This was better than I ever could have imagined it was going to be! I especially loved how it wove back to things from the first book and shined new light on previous events. And the end......oh my gosh!!!!

One of my favorite series! I gave this one 3 stars because I was excited about the premise of the book which is what made me want to read it. It was good but I wasn't obsessed with it or anything. But the cliffhanger at the end really blew my mind so I continued reading the series and I am so glad I did.

Oh, this series....this is now one of my favorite series! This is the second book in the series. I read the first last year. This series is an adult, dark Peter Pan retelling with sexy fae and so many lost boys! Honestly, if you like dark retellings, this is another one you have to read. No, you have to listen to the audiobook!
