It's a tragic story that has an uplifting ending. So many people don't understand this breed and this book brings to life just how resilient these dogs can be. It did not however make me hate Michael Vick any less, as the abuse of these dogs is laid out in the beginning. But by the end of the story I wanted to go get me a rescue pit bull.
