This book is a great read for those wanting to maintain their advanced Italian language skills.
What an absolutely incredible novel. The story was gripping at every turn of the page. Not only do we follow the amazing Story of Pino Lella, we learn about one of Italy’s darkest period in history, I think the author for giving us readers such a beautifully written story.
Quite a page-turner with a satisfying ending. It's an interesting read that starts off with mystery and keeps you wondering until the end.
Great read!! If you are a fan of truffles and seek quality, this book helps explain the potential fraud and inauthenticity out there. — I personally am very glad I read this book. I admit not being a huge fan of the truffle, but maybe it’s because what I have been tasting in truffle flavored products (oils specifically), may not have been authentic. After reading this book, I will be paying attention to labels and be more aware of truffles offered in eateries.
I loved this story. A fun and intriguing mystery set in modern day Milan. In between readings, I couldn’t wait to get back to Radeschi’s first adventure. I look forward to the next in this series.
