This book explore's a man's journey into finally crossing the threshold of maturity, yet jeopardizing his relationship/wedding with one final dare to visit every stop on the London Underground. Thought provoking and full of interesting characters on this subway adventure.
Absolutely satisfying and delicious. This is a story that I would read over and over again to relive John's passion for Lucretia and the dishes he creates for her.
The story was real. The characters seemed real, like I knew them and wanted to join them. It as a soothing, past time read. The style of writing is comfortable, relaxed and real... The story made me look back, nostalgically, at my own life and the people I met along the way - appreciating it all, my life, those people and whatever the future may hold. Inspirational.
