Loveless, Volume 12 by Yun Kouga

This volume moves a little more slowly but I loved seeing the background of Nisei and Semei. Ritsuka’s three wishes were just very cute.

I was so surprised to learn that Ms. Choko is actually Soubi’s mother ?! Makes so much sense as to why Ritsu resented Soubi and treated him terribly after taking him in. Also, Kouga’s message at the end of Seasons Greeting 2017 is a great message for readers to understand her perspective in publishing more volumes and to kinda give her space. I follow her on Twitter and every once in a while she will post a Starbucks post or something about her other works too!

Everything about this was just perfect. Everything Liz felt I was also feeling. Covering topics like loss of a loved one, a step parent coming into the family, drama with friends, accepting oneself, coming of age, and all that stuff. I especially love the references to rom coms and even quotes like “You look best when you’re you,”
Not gonna lie there were some points where I was kicking my feet and had to put the book down due to some rlly cute moments. This was one of the best romance books I’ve read in a while!

Such a cute read, I’m so glad to have finally picked up this manga! This was the first anime I’ve ever seen in 2009 when I was 8 years old and now at 21 I’m so happy to go back to something that meant so much to me.

on to reading vol 2!
I was so surprised by how much i was enjoying reading this! Also definitely recommend reading on Kindle Prime Reading since they had the switch panel option and made it so convenient to read on my iPad. I hate reading small panels with manga sometimes but there was no issue reading this on the Kindle app! :)
