Clever clever, excellent book. Fun, with an outlaw texture, and funny. Enjoyed it a bunch

Listen I even work in social media and I felt like perhaps it was a bit too heavy handed on the defense of digital. It wasn’t bad! Cute stuff and I like the premise, but give me less soapbox about Instagram and wealth just generally

So, so good. Stories about the effect of the earthquake (and all the things that complicated the response to it) on people living in Haiti. Not going to lie this was really hard to read, I started it right before the big earthquake in Turkey and Syria, and it took a while to finish because of that—but it was very very good.

Make sure to check the trigger list at the front. Really appreciated this book, and especially liked how McBride wove together the real and the not-so-real throughout.

I adored this truly delightful delightful book, wow? Multiple perspective storytelling, interwoven plot lines, an octopus as a narrator (which sounds weird but was *superb*). Just mad I didn’t read it when it first came out!
