Some really enjoyable short stories. There are definitely a few that are memorable than others, but they all were at least interesting. Why can’t I do half stars on here? That’s a tab frustrating.

I have seen this adapted a few times. It’s understandable why people choose this story to bring to life on screen. Still very enjoyable, even if I knew what was coming.

I started this a while ago and never got around to continuing it, for whatever reason. Super engaging and fun, is fun the right word there? I enjoy all King, even his bad ones — I’m not sure if I’ve read any of his real stinkers yet. I look forward to continuing the streak down reading all of his works.

Genuinely have no idea what the hell was going on. A fun ride though.

Gave me the biggest Scream vibes imaginable. Which is an instant win for me.

I’m kind of disappointed, I was really hoping to enjoy this more than I did. There was something about the pacing and split main characters, that don’t cross over at all, that bothered me. It doesn’t interconnect until the last chapter, giving a lacklustre ending and reveal to them weaving together.

I’m blown away. This is one of the most engaging books I’ve read in a really long time. A fantastic mystery thriller, that keeps you guessing and wanting to come back for more. I hardly wanted to put it down. Really gripping story, with great characters and pacing.

Didn’t love this but thought it was decent, especially considering how short it is. It just didn’t feel like any of the character motivations were earned.

My first legal thriller novel. The characters were engaging and the switch back and forth between the courtroom and Jake was well done. Felt a bit hokey in places but I feel like that might be just part of the genre. I’d definitely be interested in reading book 2. I have the fourth one but couldn’t bring myself to skip the next two.

This is more akin to a 3.5 but I’ll mark it as 4. Still very entertaining, even if the middle dragged a bit for me. The characters were likeable and the “twist” was half decent.
