i enjoyed this book. the writing was nice, there were quite a few really stand-out descriptions (that i would have highlighted were it not a library copy). the plot was kind of cruisey, but still captivating. this book felt like dissociating. but not in like,, an awful way. to conclude: i liked this and i will not read it again, nor would i recommend it.

i was expecting a lot more. this was super underwhelming. the writing was really bland + forgettable, and the imagery wasn’t particularly lovely or interesting?? the subject matter could have been talked about in a far more interesting manner. i agree with the people who said it was instagram inspirational quote material.
